He has also served as the guest conductor for the London Philharmonic, the Tonight Show Orchestra, and the Boston Pops, among others.

A native of Rochester, New York, Caswell has excelled at performing and songwriting since his youth. He remains a stunning pianist and keyboard player, and has become astute at guitar, bass, and accordion throughout a career that spans over four decades. In addition to his work as a songwriter and session musician, Caswell is renowned as a lyricist in classic jazz, helping pen words to compositions by Wayne Shorter, Hal David, and John Coltrane.

Caswell continues to work actively as a composer, producer, lyricist, and session musician. He is currently working on a number of projects that utilize his strengths as a devoted musician and creative mind. Grammy winners like Paul Williams and Bret McKenzie have praised Caswell and the ease of collaborating with him. Caswell continues a glowing track record of aiding the biggest names in music, in addition to emerging acts like The Knocks and Jamaica. Caswell’s history of contributing memorably to all musical genres and mediums makes him one of the most versatile musicians in the industry.
