Originally from Pennsylvania, Schmarx attended Full Sail University where he studied production and songwriting. Upon moving to Nashville, Schmarx developed a relationship with hit songwriter Brett James, with whom he gained engineering and programming credits on Kip Moore’s sophomore album, Wild Ones.
Hailing from Virginia, Savvy attended Berklee College of Music. After college, she moved to Austin, Texas, and signed her first publishing deal. There she achieved success with Rebecca Stella’s No. 1 dance hit “Give Me That O” and a placement on ABC’s Nashville with The Wagoneers‘ “Take You There.” She then moved to Nashville and began collaborating with Schmarx.
Schmarx and Savvy now reside in Los Angeles and have been working with artists such as Bonnie Anderson, Gia, Tony Ferrari, Carly Paige, Jeff Lewis ,Addie Hamilton, Rosie Golan, Sophie Rose and Una Sand.
Their songs “All the Time” and “Rush” were featured on Bravo’s show ‘Girlfriends Guide to Divorce’ and they have several placements on the upcoming season of VH1’s show ‘Daytime Divas’.
