Lindsey Lee is a Mississippi born, Nashville based singer/songwriter. Growing up, Lindsey’s father was a Baptist minister of music/Elvis impersonator and her mother a classical voice/piano teacher whose personal collection of records and albums filled Lindsey’s childhood home with the sounds of pop, soul, funk, r&b, rock and roll, classical, country, and gospel. With all of that variety engraved in the depths of her heart and soul, Lindsey Lee is a human jukebox and genre chameleon, with a series of life events and experiences equally as eclectic as her musical influences. From garnering over 7.5 million views on her Youtube Channel, to traveling the world as a backup singer for Miley Cyrus, to signing an exclusive worldwide publishing deal with Round Hill Music, Lindsey is certainly no stranger to big dreams becoming a reality.
But the craziness doesn’t stop there. In September of 2013, legendary rocker Steven Tyler just so happened to be in the crowd of a songwriter’s round Lindsey was performing in at the iconic Bluebird Cafe. That night, Lindsey played a song she had co-written with Eric Paslay called “Love is Your Name”and Steven Tyler fell in love it. Fast forward to May of 2015, Steven released “Love is Your Name” as the lead single off of his debut country album. In September of 2015, Lindsey and Eric joined Steven in New York City to perform the song on the CMA Songwriters Series. Presently, Lindsey is splitting her time between Nashville and LA, collaborating with a hodgepodge of writers, producers, and young up-and-coming artists, helping them to develop and shape their sound. Lindsey also provides background vocals on studio albums (Nick Carter, Jana Kramer, Sabrina Carpenter, Steven Curtis Chapman). Artists who have cut and released songs written by Lindsey include Steven Tyler, Katherine McPhee, Sabrina Carpenter, DJ Antoine, Mae Valley, Maggie Rose, Livy Jeanne, Tori Darke, Jess and the Bandits, Temara Melek, Donica Knight, Ashla Taylor, Shaina Rhodes, Allie Louise, and Scvrcina.
