Gramatik is one of the world’s most internationally-acclaimed EDM producers/DJs. The Slovenian artist has released 8 albums, 3 EPs, numerous singles and remixes, and was nominated for a 2014 European MTV Music Award. He has collaborated with artists such as Lettuce, Big Gigantik, Griz, and Raekwon, and has toured with Pretty Lights, Bassnectar, and A-Trak. In 2014, Gramatik released his entire discography and brand new LP, The Age Of Reason, which was received with critical acclaim and quickly spread across the web. Gramatik's music has found synch usages in the trailer for Oliver Stone’s Savages, “Torture (feat. Eric Krasno)” in Step Up 5 All In, "Born Ready” in a worldwide Braun commercial (feat. Sebastian Vettel), and multiple uses in So You Think You Can Dance."
Born and raised in Slovenia, Central Europe, Gramatik started producing his first beats early on for his own hip-hop group, later expanding his production skills with influences like jazz, blues, and funk, which had stayed with him from childhood. In 2013, he established his own record label, Lowtemp. Soon after the launch, Lowtemp started signing aspiring artists from the US and Europe.
2014 was a breakthrough year for Gramatik - in Europe, he gained the level of attention he has seen throughout North America. On his two worldwide tours in support of TAOR and the LYM campaign, he performed in front of sold out crowds across various regions, including Paris, New York, Chicago, Amsterdam, and Red Rocks in Colorado. Gramatik was also a frequent on the major festival circuit, performing to huge crowds at major festivals like Lollapalooza, Austin City Limits, Ultra, Secret Garden Party, Outlook, Dour, and Glastonbury.
With dates already announced at Coachella, BUKU, Hangout, Electric Forest, Sonar, Rock En Seine, Sziget Festival, and more, as well as the release of his new EP, Epigram, on Lowtemp, 2015 is set to be another banner year for Grammatik.
